What do Priyanka Chopra, Kate Bosworth and Victoria Beckham have in common? A science-backed skincare product that we just had to try out for ourselves. Meet the Augustinus Bader The Rich Cream, the creamy moisturizer with a typically hefty price tag. But we’ll let you in on a little money- (and skin-) saving secret: First time shoppers at Dermstore can score an awesome deal right now that gets you 15 percent off your purchase, meaning The Rich Cream in question is now up for grabs for as low as $83 when you use code WELCOME15. Here’s why we recommend snagging the holy grail product, especially while you can score a *rarediscount on it.

Developed by Professor Augustinus Bader, one of the world’s leading experts in stem cell research, The Rich Cream is *30years in the making. Bader spent the past three decades researching the body’s capacity for self-healing and stem cell regeneration to create his heavily praised skincare line, so when you take into consideration all the science that goes into it, the up to $290 price tag almost doesn’t seem too bad.

Regardless of a discount, it’s not lost on us that The Rich Cream costs more than most skincare products in the average person’s routine. It’s even more expensive than Gwyneth Paltrow’s (and PureWow editors’) favorite Vintner’s Daughter Active Botanical Serum ($195). But it’s not just the cult status that makes it worth dropping a huge chunk of change on—it actually provides the results to back up Bader’s 30 years of research.

Upon trying it for ourselves, our first impression was, wow this product is beautiful. It comes in the chicest royal blue-speckled bottle with a magnetic cap. The packaging sure does feel fancy on our vanities.

Then, there’s the product itself. True to its name, it’s rich. If you’ve ever tried Weleda Skin Food ($14), it’s almost as thick as that, which led us to believe that it might not be great for someone with naturally oily skin. However, when we applied two pumps (in upward motions), our combination skin drank it right up, and left an instant glow that even our mother noticed right away. I haven’t tried Bader’s The Cream (also included in the discount for $157, originally $180) for comparison, but I think it’s safe to say it works similarly for skin that doesn’t love heavy moisturizers.

Anyway, we read that it only takes four days to notice a change in your skin, and having tried hundreds of beauty products, we assumed it was a placebo effect if anything. But much to our amazement, our skin (which broke out like a 15-year-old during quarantine) was radiant, blemish-free and so much more hydrated after just a few days of use. We even noticed our dark spots fading before our eyes. We have never seen results this quickly from any product we’ve tested, period—including other pricey serums and treatments we quickly regretted buying.

Now, we’re in a bit of a pickle. We didn’t want to love The Rich Cream so much because $300 for a 1.7-ounce bottle isn’t really within our monthly budget. Nevertheless, we’ve already begun justifying it as an essential purchase.

It’s important to note that The Rich Cream comes in smaller, less expensive sizes that are ideal for testing the product before completely committing. So if you’ve been waiting to try the cult-favorite cream, you can happily dabble in the 30ml bottle (was $185, now $157) or 15ml bottle (was $96, now $82), which are also discounted when you use the WELCOME15 code. You’re welcome in advance!
